One of the poems of Nalariya Divya Prapandham is KaninunSiruththaambu which was composed by Sri Mardhurakavi Alwar who was born in Thirukkolur near Alwar Thirunagari, Mardhurakavi Alwar sang this KaninunSiruththaambu Poem on his teacher (guru) Sri Nammalwar who was born in Alwar Thirunagari.

Environment:

Madhurakavi Alwar, who started singing about Sri Nammalvar, sings about Sri Krishna, Lord Sri Krishna is the most favourite person to Nammalwar, In this hymn, Madhurakavi Alwar explains the love of Sri Nammalwar towards Lord Sri Krishna.


Meaning:

According to Sri Nammalwar, His Lord Sri Krishna and God Of Everything is Sri Krishna, That Lord Krishna made his Mother Yasoda take a piece of severed, thin, small rope to tie Lord Krishna himself up. On seeing this event Sri Nammalwar become so scared and sorrowful to see Lord Sri Krishna been tied on the Morter, Madhurakavi Azhwar enjoys that it is good and an elixir for my tongue to say the name of Nammalwar, the leader of Tirugurukur which is in the Direction of the South.
